About the Role
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Works with the project team, across all functions of the organization, to ensure
quality and timely delivery of projects.
• Accountable for ensuring appropriate/optimal engagement of delivery resources.
Works with functional managers to allocate resources.
• Develops and maintains project schedules and ensures that the scope and
deliverables are fully understood by all stakeholders.
• Assembles project schedules, ensures all systems of record for project reporting are
kept current, and directs and monitors work effort regularly.
• Reviews project solution estimates and actively seeks clarifications/verification as
appropriate.
• Identifies and tracks key project milestones.
• Monitors and communicates the progress of project delivery and ensures timely and
effective communication of project status in terms of cost, forecast, schedule, and
assessment of risk/issues.
• Proactively anticipates project risks and issues and ensures adequate mitigation is in
place to ensure project delivery in not compromised.
• Ensures proper Change Control procedures and processes are efficiently used to
maintain control of scope, schedule, and budget.
• Predict resources needed to complete the project
• Draft and submit a budget based on the scope of work and resource requirements
• Provide direction over contracts and subcontracts
• Ensure work is done in compliance with all relevant Construction and safety codes
• Manage Project Engineers, Subcontractor, and Team Leaders
• Provide Quality Control / Quality Assurance
• Preparation of Project Handover Documents
Requirements
Qualifications
Licensed Electrical / Electronics Engineer
Minimum of 3 years work experience in project management within construction
Experienced in implementing the following Systems (Lighting, Audio, Video, Control System, CCTV, FDAS, and Other ELV Systems )
Ability to read plans and specifications and interpret blue prints
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer software
Proficiency in Project Management Software ( MS Project / Primavera )
Proficiency in Designing Electrical Plans, Equipment Layouts and Load Schedule
Proficiency in AutoCAD
Demonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles
Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs
High degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions
Strong leadership and management skills
