AN OVERVIEW
The project was accomplished on February 16,2023 in commemoration of the brave soldiers who fought against the Japanese during World War II. This is celebrated every 9th of April, Araw ng Kagitingan, or day of Valor, in Mt. Samat Shrine of Valor, Pilar, Bataan. Incorporating innovation in their tribute, several lighting technologies were installed to transform this special day.
OUR OBJECTIVES
The project aimed to elevate the way the day of Valor is commemorated through visually stunning lighting installations, thus giving it glamour and makeover. It is intended to pay homage to the courages soldiers during the World War II and highlight its historical significance and the reverence accorded to this special day. Through these innovations, it is expected to create a memorable and emotionally impactful experience for attendees and visitors to the Mt. Samat Shrine of Valor—designed to invoke a sense of pride and respect for the heroes.
THE RESULTS
The successful installation of LED beacon light, Obstruction light, LED pixel lighting, LED wall washer lights, LED Garden lights, LED strip lights, LED linear lighting, LED spot light, and RGB lasers helped enhance what a tribute is: letting the light shine upon the heroes. With the various light installations, the message of honor and remembrance towards the fallen heroes were effectively conveyed, thus leaving a lasting impression on those who participated in this celebration.
