AN OVERVIEW
The San Juanico Bridge in Samar, known as the second longest bridge in the Philippines connecting the islands of Leyte and Samar, underwent a transformation through the execution of aesthetic lighting and special effects. This project involved the designing, supplying, installing, programming, and preventive maintenance of lighting systems as well as music management. These assisted in elevating the visual appeal of the iconic bridge, accompanying travelers in their journey.
OUR OBJECTIVES
The project aimed to boost the aesthetics of the San Juanico Bridge as the region’s symbol, thus transforming it to a visually stunning infrastructure that appeals to locals and tourists. More than that, these enhancements will serve as an avenue to increase visibility and security, wherein it aids navigation for night travelers. The lighting systems are designed to maintain its attractiveness and functionality in a good period of time through the preventive maintenance.
THE RESULTS
The successful installation of lighting systems and special effects effectively modified San Juanico Bridge into a captivating visual infrastructure and was positioned as one of sources of pride for the locals. Additionally, the installations assisted Samar in enhancing security and drawing travelers to the region, thus boosting tourism which is vital for the local economy. The inclusion of preventive maintenance ensured the installations longevity of use without compromising its quality. The overall installations displayed the region’s commitment in preserving and promoting cultural and architectural heritage.
